Amanda is a solicitor and has specialised in tax for 25 years.
Amanda qualified in 1990 having trained at Linklaters. In 1993, she joined SJ Berwin where she remained for 11 years before joining Charles Russell LLP where she was a partner until May 2013.
Amanda is listed as an expert in the 2012 edition of The International Who’s Who of Corporate Tax Lawyers, a publication which identifies the foremost corporate tax practitioners. She is also listed as a Ranked Lawyer in Chambers and Partners UK Guide.
Amanda’s areas of expertise include the tax efficient structuring of mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and international), international tax planning, structuring investment funds and venture capital investments, property-related taxes and tax efficient property holding structures, joint ventures, management buyouts, entrepreneurial tax reliefs e.g. enterprise investment scheme, the tax efficient structuring of employee remuneration and benefits and the tax treatment of intellectual property (including tax efficient intellectual property holding structures).
Amanda established Solomon Tax in 2013. Solomon Tax is a law firm regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
