BABATUNDE A. SODIPO is a Partner in AJUMOGOBIA & OKEKE and head of the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration team of the firm.

Babatunde has over twenty-seven years’ post-call experience specialising in the resolution of various commercial disputes by litigation at various levels of the Nigerian courts system and by arbitration. He also specialises in environmental law, aviation, employment law, intellectual property, retail real estate and product liability.

He has substantial experience in corporate commercial and compliance advisory on a wide range of matters, including the negotiation and drafting of industry specific agreements. He advises domestic and international clients in the energy, tobacco, aviation, banking, insurance and beverages industries. Babatunde was a member of the High Court of Lagos State (Civil Procedure) Rules Review Panel established by the Attorney-General of Lagos State in 2007. He is a Notary Public for Nigeria, an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, U.K. and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association. Babatunde authored the Nigerian chapter of Getting the Deal Through – Product Liability 2017 (10th Edition) – an international annual report on Product Liability in 33 jurisdictions worldwide. He is cited in Whio's Who Legal - NIGERIA.
