About Gian

I qualified as a Solicitor with Gould & Swayne in August 2008 and was appointed director in 2013.

My areas of expertise cover a range of contentious and non-contentious commercial related matters, including:

•Landlord and tenant disputes
•Partner/Shareholder disputes
•Building disputes
•Joint ventures
•Company restructures
•Employment advice and representation
•Commercial conveyancing (freehold and leasehold)
•Business/Company transfers

By bringing together my experience in these areas I am able to offer commercial clients advice on a broad range of legal matters and offer them one solicitor to deal with rather than several.

I believe in offering clients a tailored service to meet their needs. I recognise that some clients will be new to legal services and find the whole process quite daunting. I always take time to explain the process and explore what it is they are looking to achieve by instructing me and balancing that against the associated costs and risks involved in achieving the desired outcome.

Most of the work I do is privately funded but, in the case of contentious work, other funding options may be available and include before and after the event insurance and conditional fee agreements.

Costs and funding options are always discussed at the outset of every matter.

Before qualifying as a solicitor I obtained a Degree in International Business and Law and Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Central Lancashire.
