About Jochen

Jochen Eichhorn has been practicing as an attorney since 1991. Right from the beginning of his activity as an attorney he has advised in the areas of banking- and capital markets, asset management, retail- and private banking / wealth management, including litigation and dispute resolution.

After a banking apprenticeship with BHF-Bank, he studied at the universities in Freiburg im Breisgau (law and political economy) and Berlin (Dr. jur.). Thereafter, he completed an internship with a law firm in France as well as internships in the U.S.A. and France. Between 1992 and 1993 he worked as an attorney for a leading German law firm. Subsequently, he worked for the German Investment and Asset Management Association (BVI) between 1993 and 1999 – at last as a senior director legal and tax. Between 1999 and 2006 he held various executive positions in the areas legal, compliance and risk control at UBS Wealth and Asset Management in Germany – at last as deputy head of legal with UBS Deutschland AG (incl. investment banking).
