My current experience is focused on tech companies through my involvement in the Angel / VC sector (for portfolio companies at Y Combinator / Passion Capital / Local Global / Forward Partners / Seedrs) or as an Entrepreneurship Expert at the University of Oxford. I started my career at Linklaters and was at Clifford Chance for over 6 years.
I have personally built tech companies and understand the nuances of operating in the start-up environment.
An additional benefit is that I have a commercial approach to law which is based on having founded and operated companies as well as through obtaining an MBA at the University of Oxford.
