I have specialised in employment law since 2006 and really enjoy working with a variety of different businesses - from global corporations to small charities. In the words of my clients, I work with care, expert knowledge, and complete integrity to advise on sensitive issues in a constructive way.
I have a solid grounding in the employment tribunal process and have handled in excess of 250 claims including for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, race and disability discrimination. In the past year I have successfully defended claims in both the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
Apart from litigation, I advise businesses on business protection, service agreements, staff handbooks, and general employment policies and procedures. I also help businesses manage long term absent employees, take steps to protect their commercial interests when key employees leave, and to resolve tricky or sensitive disputes between managers and senior employees.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, a committee member of my local CIPD group and I support a local charity’s management committee. Outside of work my passions are cycle racing and riding in the Alps; Italian food and my growing family.
