I was a little disappointed with this service. I was expecting to have been passed to a real specialist who had experience with the cases similar to mine but I wasn't left with that impression. It was unclear what I actually paid for and the advice I received was rather mumbled. Overall I was disappointed with both the firm in question and Lexoo for the tendering process that seemed to pair me up with perhaps the wrong lawyer.

Hi James Robins I am surprised at your review, which perhaps comes from us not being clear on your expectations with regard to your budget and what you expected for around a 1 hours consultation, inspite of me stating this in my quote that you accepted. I have had experience in matters similar to your's, as relates to copyright, for work created whilst in employment. In my opinion I even went beyond the spec at no extra cost to you, due to your limited budget and request, to check your draft response when you wanted me to also draft your response to your employer, which was beyond the scope of the initial quote. You did mention you wanted a more detailed bullet wise response which I will take on board for the future. At no point did you raise any further queries once the work was complete, nor did you ask for a call for further clarification if you had not understood any aspects of the advice.Perhaps I should have called you again if this is what you expected but as I had already spent much time on a matter with a limited budget I did not. You paid for time spent to review relevant contracts and your job profile in connection with the copyrighted work you sought advice on, review of the letter from your employer asking for authorship for work done whilst in employment and after employment ended . Then practical advice via email on options you had and how you could respond to your employer's request, which was partially unreasonable. It seems that you are close to resolution of this matter with your employer with further help from your brother in drafting letters to and fro to your employer and I wish you a successful outcome.I have over 15 years of experience with UK copyright laws, advising large multinationals who have been happy with the advice, thus am well equipped to deal with such matters . I also have other 5 star client reviews so Lexoo is not wrong in referring such work to me. After my call to you and conversation to clarify the review, you sent me an email to state you are happy to remove the review should you get a refund. I have declined this offer and preferred instead to state the facts as I see them and accept your comments to improve the service we could provide in future in meeting realistic expectations .

Reina listens carefully. She asked alot of questions. She weighs up and then advises. Most importantly and helpfully, she followed up regularly with an email or a phone call to encourage progress. I achieved the result I wanted.
