Wimbledon and The City, London
Stacy is a dual-qualified solicitor and US lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience practising commercial and corporate law. She was formerly a partner at Baker & McKenzie in London and acted as general counsel of a start-up financial services firm. In those roles, and in her consulting work, Stacy has been involved at senior levels in a broad range of corporate transactions involving a wide range of businesses across numerous business sectors and ranging from start ups to multi-nationals.
Stacy's transactional experience includes significant private equity, M&A and capital markets transactions as well as smaller business investments and combinations. She has drafted and negotiated commercial agreements relating to virtually all areas of a business, including non-disclosure agreements, standard terms and conditions, IT and office services contracts and purchase and supply contracts, and has a great deal of experience with corporate agreements and arrangements, such as shareholders’ agreements, partnership agreements and articles of association, as well. She enjoys assisting clients with their company secretarial function, advising on those issues and helping to prepare board and shareholder documentation as appropriate.
Stacy also advises clients on the Bribery Act and has assisted clients in a broad range of compliance matters, such as by preparing codes of business conduct, conflicts of interest procedures and anti-bribery and corruption procedures.
SW19 Lawyers is a boutique London law firm made up of lawyers who all have a wealth of experience in City or major London legal practices.
Stacy has been an absolute star. She was a pleasure to work with and remarkably responsive and insightful while dealing with a fairly complex and unusual international business deal involving both UK & US jurisdictions. If you're looking for a very capable, friendly and efficient lawyer than I can highly recommend her.
