W H Lawrence
William Lawrence qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and founded WH Lawrence in January 2013. William is a property litigation specialist. The early part of his career was spent at national firm, Eversheds in Manchester before moving to London where he worked at City practice, SJ Berwin (now King & Wood Mallesons) until 2006. Following a short stint in the West End, he joined national firm Hammonds (now Squire Patton Boggs) heading their London property litigation practice as a Partner. William’s clients range from commercial landlords and commercial tenants, to high net worth individuals, partnerships, companies (both small and large) and charities, all with property interests throughout the country.
WH Lawrence is a three partner specialist property litigation law firm. The partners have around 60 years of combined property litigation experience between them. The firm's focus is on personal service: clients' matters are dealt with by a partner from start to finish, with no delegation to juniors. Each partner has a City/national law firm background but has chosen to work at WH Lawrence where it is possible to build closer, more personal relationships with clients. The firm operates with low overheads, meaning that the rates offered are broadly half those that would be offered by partners at larger, mainstream law firms: this effectively means partner-level expertise at associate rates.
