Lindt's online-only Pick & Mix range aims to recreate the in-store experience of picking flavours like Hazelnut, Pistachio, Salted Caramel, and that one strange white-orange truffle that nobody truly understands but always ends up in the bag. The 500g Gold Bunny Tin (£30) and various selection box weights (600g for £33, 800g for £42) offer the same combination of satisfaction and mild buyer’s regret as their physical counter equivalents - just without the faint whiff of overpolished glass counters.

And yes, there’s a 400g Pink Heart box (£25), which seems to have escaped Valentine’s Day and taken up quiet residence in the Easter section. Useful if you also forgot Valentine’s Day.

Is It All Worth It?

It’s Lindt. You know what you’re getting. The chocolate is smooth in the way that always makes you wonder if maybe there’s just a little too much vegetable oil going on, and the packaging remains best-in-class glossy. None of it is artisanal. That’s not the point. You buy Lindt for the consistent pleasure of eating six truffles in a row and then realising no one can stop you because you’re an adult.

Will it change your life? No. Will it cause a minor dopamine spike during a late-night cupboard rummage? Almost certainly. And around Easter, that’s probably enough.
