Their fleet spans everything from tiny runarounds to heavy-duty vans for shifting entire house loads. Theoretically, the process of rentaing from them should be streamlined and seamless.
But frequent renters know that logistical scale doesn’t always guarantee a friction-free experience. Insurance disputes, deposit withholdings, unexpected fees - these are universal rental pains, and SIXT isn't immune. A polished website and a promise of new cars can’t magically eliminate tedious counter negotiations or the fine-print battles that define the car hire industry.
SIXT succeeds at looking premium without fully committing to being premium.
