It’s not necessarily a sign of deep consumer wisdom to be shopping the "Last Chance" section of an online fitnesswear boutique. There’s a fair chance you’ve landed there because your gym motivation has outpaced your gym wardrobe, and there's only so long you can rotate the same three pairs of leggings before the dryer claims one as tribute. But in the case of Tikiboo - a brand that leans into neon brights, mesh cutouts, and slogans that toe the line between motivational and ironic - the Last Chance Collection may be strangely on brand. Temporary, slightly chaotic, and not entirely sure how seriously to take itself.
Tikiboo has been around long enough to know who it is. Or at least who it’s for. This is not minimalist, neutral-hued athleisure for espresso-sipping influencers. This is maximalist performancewear: bold colours, louder prints, and slogans that read like they were workshopped in a spin class ("Born To Glow Forced To Squat" being a standout). The cuts are functional - racerbacks for breathability, high waistbands for containment - and the materials do what they need to, which is mostly stretch, wick, and survive repeated squats.
The brand’s mesh racerback vests, all priced at £19.99 full price, are what economists would call an impulse purchase and what Tikiboo calls motivational. Currently, the Last Chance section features vest designs with text ranging from cheeky ("I Run For The After Selfies") to mildly concerning ("I Will Run For Snacks"). Only you can decide which one speaks to your core identity.
Today’s offer headlines with 25% off (no code required, if you're the type to forget at checkout). That drops the vests below £15 - reasonable, given the durable polyester-based blend isn't pretending to be anything it’s not. Shipping is free in the UK if you spend over £100, otherwise it’ll cost £3.99 via Royal Mail’s MAIL48 service (which is speedier than it sounds, but not by much). Faster shipping is available, but only if you're in a postcode that somehow isn't too rural or romantically remote.
There are the usual Buy Now, Pay Later options through Klarna and Clearpay, should you need to delay repentance for another pay cycle. Refunds are accepted, though with the caveat that some stock is sold on backorder - meaning your new gear might take up to two weeks to arrive. Plan accordingly if your bootcamp instructor has opinions.
It’s worth managing expectations here. Tikiboo’s apparel is not built for alpine expeditions or ultra-marathons across desert terrain. This is gym and leisurewear, emphasis on the first syllable of leisure. It gets sweaty tasks done, but with a touch of humour that suggests you’re in on the joke. (Whether your burpees agree is another matter.)
The sizing is inclusive - rare praise in this corner of the market - and reviews, while anecdotal, are largely positive. Fans praise the "vibrant neon colours" and the quality of stitching. You’ll notice nobody’s raving about the breathable micro-mesh technology or laser-cut seams. Nor should they. The point isn’t optimal aerodynamics. Tikiboo knows its audience: people who might skip leg day but would never skip legging day.
The "Last Chance" label has a certain drama to it, as though you’re racing against time before someone else grabs the "Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat" vest from your basket. But realistically, these items appear cyclical. What’s gone may return, just under a different motivational mantra. Still, if you’re in need of functional gymwear with personality - and don’t mind the odd line of perspiration-coated wordplay - it’s not the worst way to spend £15.
Just be honest about why you're buying it. "For snacks" is perfectly valid.
