At Lexoo, we’re obsessively passionate about using technology to help legal teams find great external counsel in our global network (typically ex-big firm senior lawyers), who offer high-end expertise on a low-overhead basis.
We believe there is a better way for in-house legal teams to source, compare, and hire external counsel. The Lexoo solution is easier, more cost-effective, and transparent. Whether the need is for ongoing support, counsel for one-off matters, or assistance with international work, Lexoo provides a trusted method for legal teams to source high-quality advice.
We’re a team of ex-lawyers ourselves, and we rigorously vet every lawyer who joins the Lexoo platform. Businesses across the UK now use Lexoo to quickly tender out their legal work to our global network of lawyers, compare competitive proposals within days, and hire great lawyers. Read more on how it works here.
Technology has levelled the playing field in so many business fields, why should the law be any different? We quit our jobs as City lawyers to change this. We have a relentless focus on ensuring that all lawyers on our platform are experts in their fields but also share our philosophy of efficiency, transparency and cost-certainty.
Lexoo was founded by Daniel van Binsbergen and Chris O’Sullivan in 2014. As a lawyer in a large law firm, Daniel experienced first-hand the inefficiencies of that model, where clients are often left frustrated at the lack of transparency and inflated legal-fees.
In a world where technology is making work more flexible, services more efficient, and more cost-effective for businesses and consumers, the same changes can be brought to the legal industry. At Lexoo, we are determined to revolutionize the business of law and deliver legal services for the 21st century.
